Welcome to the Winter Golf League at Westhaven Golf Club.  We will be hosting a 14 – week league throughout the fall and winter on our FullSwing golf Simulator.  Each week teams will test their skills on some of the top PGA Courses.

League format:

• 2- Person teams
• *$15 entry fee per person for prize pool
• 14 week season
• 9 hole matches
• Handicapped (we will use your established summer league or USGA handicap, if you don’t have a handicap established the Pro Shop will help you determine it)
• Teams will be matched against another team and points awarder based on the low NET score for the hole
• Weekly and season long prizes

Point system:

10 points available per match:

• 1 pt. per hole
• If halved then each team receives .5 pt.
• A bonus point is awarded for the team with the most points for each match

Rules:

• The Schedule will be set in advance for each course to be played, front/back 9, and condition settings.  Example:  WK 1 Torrey Pines North– Front 9, Elevation– 800′ (approximate elevation in Oshkosh), Wind– breezy, Pin Difficulty– medium)
• You are required to play with your partner each week but do not have to play against your opposing team live (for ease of scheduling we want to accommodate for various life styles and availability)
• If unable to play a certain week you may play up to ONE week ahead of the scheduled match to record your team score
• For pace of play considerations we will have a Double Par Pick-Up Rule: Once you have reached strokes equaling double par of the hole being played you proceed to the next hole. Example:  Playing a Par 4 once you have hit your 8th shot, regardless if the ball has been holed, you record an 8 on the scorecard
• 8′ Gimmie Putts- Once you hit your ball within 8′ of the hole it automatically adds 1 stroke and holes out.
• If more than 16 teams register we will divide into 2 divisions and have division winners play an 18 hole championship match in week 15

*Players are responsible for their weekly Greens Fee of $20 for the 9 hole play.  Season Pass and Discount Card  holders receive $3 off per round.
